Ian Curtis Control Film Wins Five Awards

The Ian Curtis biopic Control has cleared-up at the last night's British Independent Film Awards (November 28th), picking-up five awards.
Anton Corbijn won Best Director, while Best Actor went to Sam Riley, who plays Joy Division singer Ian Curtis in the film.
It also won Best Film prize and Best Debut Director, again for Cobijn (he is usually known for his photography work). The fifth award went to actor Toby Kebbell for his role as former Joy Division manager Rob Gretton.
Control has just been given a UK release date for the DVD version and it will be in shops from February 11th 2008.
