Vessels Album, Single And Tour News

Vessels are one of our favourite new bands here at AngryApe, so we're more than pleased to announce that the Leeds experimentalists have a single on the horizon.
Two Words & A Gesture is the band's follow-up to their acclaimed debut Yuki (read our review) which arrived in March of this year. The b-side comes in the form of Clear & Calm.
The new single will be again be available as a 7" (just 500 copies) and a download on November 5th via Cuckondoo Records. But those of who can't wait that long to hear the new material can listen to lead song Two Words & A Gesture on the Vessels MySpace page (link).

In other news, Vessels have now become a five-piece after touring member Peter Wright joined the band, following their Summer shows. Also speaking of gigs, the group have two dates coming up - including an event alongside Efterklang and Caribou.
And if all that wasn't enough, it's also been revealed that in December Vessels will be heading out to Minneapolis to record their debut album at the Pachyderm studio with
producer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Polyphonic Spree). The record will then arrive in early 2008.
