Sex Pistols Re-Record Anarchy In The UK

The Sex Pistols have been in the studio and have re-recorded their classic single Anarchy In The UK, so that it can be used in a new computer game called Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock.

This is the first time the band members of John Lydon, Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook have been in the studio together since the late 1970s and the sessions were hold in Air Studios in London. Producer Chris Thomas worked on the track.

Fans are also speculating that new material may have also been recorded during the studio time.

Talking to Billboard.com, Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones said, "I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it actually turned out great and I think everyone held their own."

In other news, the Sex Pistols will also be playing live again in the coming months, with shows taking place in Manchester and London. You can see those dates listed here.
