Bright Eyes, Feist, Cat Power & More For The Hottest State

Compilations, or film soundtracks in particular can be a bit hit and miss, but the forthcoming proposed soundtrack for new Ethan Hawke movie The Hottest State looks very promising.
All of the songs were penned by songwriter Jesse Harris, but were performed by various artists, except for two score passages.
The eighteen track CD has more than its fair share of desirable artists involved - new tracks performed by Feist, Bright Eyes, Cat Power and M Ward all instantly jump out as interesting contributions.
