Peter Broderick Announces Float Album Details

Peter Broderick has joined the ranks of Type Records and coming up on their forthcoming release schedule, is a new single and album.
First up is a two-track 7", featuring the songs Retreat and Release - that will be in shops from 10th September. But the real exciting news is the Float album that will follow in October.
Over at his MySpace page, Broderick describes the LP as "10 tracks based around short piano compositions. Lots of strings. Also, little bits of banjo, celeste, saw, vocals, trumpet, drums, etc."
Speaking further of the record, Peter adds: "I am very, very pleased to announce that my album Float will be out on CD and vinyl, on one of my absolute favorite record labels, Type Recordings."
"They've put out some of my favorite records these last few years, so I am very honored to be working with them." Broderick continued.
