Ice Cube VS New Zealand

Ice Cube is under scrutiny after New Zealand politician Len Brown has lashed out at the rapper and has called for a forthcoming planned show in the country at the end of the month, to be pulled.
The usual story of hip hop promoting gangs and violence is to blame for the outburst, although the fact Brown is also running for Mayor of Manukau could be the main reason.
Brown says, "Why is Ice Cube coming to the Telstra Pacific Centre on 22 August this year? We don't want him. We don't need him. He is not welcome here."
"Ice Cube brings a gangsta message to our community via his gangsta rap. This message promotes gangs, gang violence and drugs."
"We don't want this in our homes. We don't want it on our streets." Brown continued.
