The BBC has had to apologise for racist comments made by punk legend Iggy Pop during live Glastonbury Festival coverage over the weekend.
The Stooges frontman was being interviewed on Saturday June 23rd about his band's performance at the annual event, when he made a joke about visiting "Paki shops" in Camden.
Pop was being interviewed by Jo Whiley and Mark Radcliffe at the time and neither host apologised for his comments live on air.
After a few complaints, the BBC have said "We would like to apologise if anyone was offended."
