The Motorettes - Jed Laidlaw Quits The Band

Jed Laidlaw has left The Motorettes according to a new MySpace bulletin by the group, but the remaining members will still continue to function as the band.

The post reads, "Hello to all, we're very sad to announce that Jed has left the band, he's off to pursue a different career, and we all wish him well. We are, however, delighted to announce that Mr Daniel Rose-Troop has recently become a fully fledged Motorette, some of you will have seen him make his debut at the Evolution festival."

"Onwards and upwards then and we're now well into the writing for our second album, in the mean time we're doing a couple of gigs here and there, first up is a date at the Cluny, with the excellent Ever Since The Lake Caught Fire, and the magnificent Bystanders, then we're off on a short jaunt to Selby to play at the town hall, check the dates section to know exactly when.
