The Rakes Ready Their Next Single

The Rakes lift another single from their latest album Ten New Messages this July, including a stack of goodies as b-sides.
Released as two 7" singles and a download package, The World Was A Mess But His Hair Was Perfect will include a Tronik Youth remix of the title track, as well as two live versions as recorded for Zane Lowe.
Fresh from his recent Bloc Party remix, James Rutledge also serves up a reworking of the lead track for a b-side on the download package.
The Rakes originally wrote the song for a Dior Pour Homme Catwalk show, at the request of head designer Hedi Slimane. It will now be released as a single on July 16th.
