The View's Front Man Fined For Cocaine Possession

On Monday we reported that Kyle Falconer, front man with The View, would be facing drug charges and now he's been fined £1000 for possession.

Falconer pleaded guilty to possessing the Class A drug while attending Dundee Sheriff Court today (March 2nd).

The charges stem back to when he was arrested outside a student union in Dundee in August 2006, where The View had been performing live. He was found to be in possession of £150.

Falconer's defence agent Billy Boyle asked the courts for an absolute discharge, claiming that singer had not consumed any cocaine and that a criminal record would also harm his band's future in America.
