Bloc Party Fans Are Robbed During A Show

A Bloc Party show was targetted by a mobile phone thief, while the band performed at the Hexagon venue in Reading.

The band were playing on Monday February 5th to support the release of their second album A Weekend In The City (released that very day), while the thief struck - stealing the phones of over 30 people.

Police were called into the venue after lots of fans reported to the Hexagon's security about the theft. The thief was then apprehended and found to be in possession of over 30 mobiles and a wig.

Bloc Party invited fans who had their phones stolen to attend backstage after the gig had finished. The band meanwhile, continue with their current tour dates, which look like this:
