Deerhunter Set To Release Cryptograms In The UK

The hotly tipped Deerhunter have been getting a lot of attention in the States with their new album Cryptograms and now the band are set to release the record over here during the next month.
The album, which is their second to date, was nearly not released due to the difficult nature in which the band were recording. The first half of the LP was recorded in 2005 but thanks to technical and personal problems, it was scrapped.
It wasn't for another year that Deerhunter decided to have a go at re-recording the album, even after the group were considering completely calling it a day. Now the finished product is complete and ready to be released on February 12th by Kranky Records.
