Arcade Fire have announced they are to make a limited batch of extra tickets available for their forthcoming gigs in London next week, as a means of fighting against touts who have been selling tickets at extortionate prices.
The band have said 50 tickets will now be sold on each night of the tour, available for £16 (cash-only) on the venue door as of 6pm.
Tickets will be strictly first-come first-served and limited to just one 1 customer, who will be given a special wristband to gain instant entrance to the performance.
The extra places are available for the following gigs: St John's Church Smith Square (Jan 29th-31st) and Porchester Hall (Feb 1st-2nd).
Arcade Fire then embark on a full tour proper in March as well as releasing their new album Neon Bible on March 5th.
