The nominations for this year's BRIT Awards have been announced with Muse, Lily Allen and Gnarls Barkley leading with them all earning three nominations each.

Other acts benefiting from more than one nomination, including Arctic Monkeys, Bob Dylan, Scissor Sisters, Amy Winehouse and Kasabian.

As reported in October, Oasis will be receiving an Outstanding Contribution To Music Award and will also be performing live on the night alongside The Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snow Patrol.

The full list of nominees in each category can be found below. The actual BRIT Awards ceremony meanwhile, will be held at Earls Court in London on February 14th and will be hosted by comedian Russell Brand.
