This really hasn't been a good year for Busta Rhymes, who has now been ordered to pay out $100,000 in damages after assaulting a fan back in 2005.
The claim against Busta stated that the rapper and his bodyguard beat up 37 year old Melvin Smith outside of the Corner Gourmet II deli in Manhattan, after he asked Rhymes for an autograph.
Aparently, the hip hop starignored the lawsuit repeatedly until a court-appointed mediator was called in, who found the rapper and his bodyguard liable for the assault charges. He is reported to have been charged $100,000.
In other recent news, Busta Rhymes was in further trouble with the law having been accused of assaulting his own driver Eddie Hatchett on Boxing Day.
