Radiohead Member To Release Reggae Compilation

Jonny Greenwood, guitarist with indie giants Radiohead is to release a compilation album this Spring of reggae songs.

Greenwood was asked by the influential Trojan label to compile some of his favourite reggae songs as part of their special 2007 releases, which will mark their 40th anniversary.

Set for a March 6th release, the collection is entitled Jonny Greenwood is the Controller and includes 17 songs by such names as Lee Perry, King Tubby, Scientist, Sly & robbie and The Heptones.

Apparently Greenwood spent 6 months going through the Trojan archives until he decided on the final tracks.
