Dr Dre Names New Detox Album Date

A vague release date of the long-awaited Detox album from acclaimed hip hop producer Dr Dre has surfaced, thanks to new interview footage floating around on the internet.
The video, which can be seen here, sees Dre Dre and Bishop Lamont reveal how Detox will be released in September 2007.
Lamont is heard as saying: "You see this man right here (meaning Dre), we gonna do shameless promotion - Detox (in) September. This is not make believe."
While this may seem a long time away, the album was originally intended to be released in 2004 after the hip hop star announced plans for the LP way back in 2002. Detox is long overdue, as his last long-player "2001", was released in 1999.
Rumours suggest that Detox will include Eminem, as well as producers Hi-Tek, Kon Artis and Mahogany.
