LL Cool J has spoken out about the recent comeback of Jay-Z, showing his unhappiness at the rapper's return with his Kingdom Come album.
Besides his own music career, Jay-Z is also the president and CEO of hip hop label Def Jam, which also happens to be the record company LL signed to way back in 1984 and has remained at ever since.
LL Cool J reportedly told MTV: "How am I gonna re-sign with competition? I'm not an idiot. I can't depend on that man (meaning Jay-Z) to promote my record while he's somewhere writing rhymes."
LL's latest album Todd Smith was released this year and he's currently working on the sequel, which has a working title of Todd Smith Pt 2.
