Babyshambles Cancel UK Tour

Babyshambles have pulled the last shows on their current tour of the UK.
Tonight's set in Nottingham has been scrapped, as well as this week's nights in Manchester and Newcastle.
Speaking on behalf of the band, Babyshambles' record label Regal have said:
"It has become clear that Pete Doherty embarked on this arduous and high profile tour too soon after his discharge and still needs time to recover from his extensive rehab treatment".
"Peter asks that he be given the time and space to continue with his excellent effort to recover."
"The band apologises to fans but hopes that they will understand the importance of Peter being able to best continue his good progress in recovering from addiction. The dates will be rearranged for as soon as possible and all tickets will remain valid."

8th - Nottingham, Rock City
9th - Manchester, Academy
10th - Newcastle, Academy
