Foxy Brown's Assistant Drops Charges

A former assistant of Foxy Brown has withdrawn her complaint against the rapper resulting in charges being dropped.

Rasheeda Ellis, a former consultant to Brown's management company, had claimed that Foxy and two others had visited her place of employment and threatened her. Ellis had then filed charges of harrassment, terrorist threats and verbal abuse.

Brown had previously been due to appear in court in July but didn't appear. She then failed to turn up again to a second court date. She had been ordered to attend the latest hearing or face arrest.

The rapper apparently lingered in the New Jersey Municipal Court hallway while her lawyer asked the judge to prevent photographers from shooting her picture. The request was denied and the judge ordered Foxy to take off her sunglasses in court. She reportedly never said a word during the entire hearing.

All charges were dropped after both parties agreed to have no contact with each other and to refrain from talking to the media about the situation.

Foxy Brown also appeared in court last month, and pleaded guilty to charges brought against her after she assaulted two nail salon technicians during a dispute over a manicure bill. She was given three year's probation and ordered to take anger management classes.
