Isobel Campbell Prepares New Album Milkwhite Sheets

Recent Mercury Music Prize nominee Isobel Campbell is preparing to release her second album of the year, which she's described as a "low-key" acoustic album.
14 songs have been recorded for the Milkwhite Sheets long-player, which V2 shall be releasing on October 23rd.
The album is her third solo LP to date, following on from the Ballad Of The Broken Seas release.
Speaking about recording the album, Campbell cites 'outsider' folk singers like Shirley Collins, Anne Briggs, and Kentucky-based singer and dulcimer player Jean Ritchie as particular influences.
