The Strokes have rearranged their forthcoming Irish dates, which will now take place after the band have toured the UK.

Two shows in Ireland were supposed to kick off the band's tour on 19th and 20th January, but both days have now been moved to February 20th and 21st. Existing tickets are valid for the new dates, or ticket holders can get a refund from point of purchase.

The live shows will be the first for The Strokes since the release of their third album First Impressions Of Earth, which reached number 1 in the UK.

The tour now looks like this :
