The Strokes have announced their first tour of 2006, scheduled for January and February.

The tour will see The Strokes playing 16 dates in the UK and Ireland, a few weeks after they release their anticipated 3rd album First Impressions Of Earth (released January 2nd).

The band are set to play a low-key London show tonight to test the new material, at the ULU

Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday December 2nd. Tickets will sell out immediately, so be quick.
