The Aliens have announced the details of their debut EP - expected in February 2006.

The Aliens are a band consisting of former Beta Band members, John Maclean and Robin Jones, as well as Gordon Anderson (Lone Pigeon).

In a statement on the The Aliens official message board, John Maclean said :

"We have been picked up by EMI... Keith Wozencroft has signed us (head hauncho at EMI) was always a huge supporter of the Beta Band. We will be releasing our EP on our own Imprint - Pet Rock Records, which will hopefully grow over the years and ebentually we can sign other bands, and release Lone Pigeon and Kittens material.

The Kittens are Brian's (new member of The Aliens) own band."

The EP is entitled Alienoid Starmonica and will be released in February 2006. A DVD will accompany the EP with four new films.
