Belle & Sebastian have announced a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland for the start of 2006, including a three night residency at ABC in Glasgow.

The 15 date tour is being billed as The Civic Pride Tour. Tickets go on sale this Friday 4th November from 9am.

In other Belle & Sebastian appearances, Chris is DJ'ing at the Burn Your Books night in Manchester this Friday, November 5th.

The night is being run the guys at B-Music at the Night and Day Cafe. Others appearing unclude David Holmes and Andy Votel.
