Idlewild have announced an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland this coming April and March, after they head out on a short acoustic tour this week. The new tour will be a full electric band.

March 7th sees the release of the band's new album, Warnings / Promises, which is the follow-up to 2002's, The Remote Part.

The first single to be taken from 'Warnings / Promises' is to be, Love Steals Us From Loneliness, which will be released on February 21st.

Tickets for the forthcoming tour go on sale on January 28th at 9am.
