Andy Votel will release a new compilation album early next year, featuring rare and hard to find folk oddities.

The album is entitled Folk Is Not A Four Letter Word and contains 15 tracks. It will be the first release for a new label name Delay 68, which is a sub-division of Cherry Red Records and be available to buy on January 24th 2005.

Delay 68 is a project by two thirds of the Finders Keepers collective, masterminded by Doug Shipton and Andy Votel. The label is set to bring the best in forgotten Psych, Folk-Funk, Prog, Ye-Ye and Euro-Beat on future releases.

Names expected for future Delay 68 releases include : Bob Stanley (St Etienne), Gareth Goddard (Cherrystones) and Dom Thomas (B-Music / Finders Keepers).

Votel has previously released a compilation entitled Finders Keepers and the critically acclaimed Music To Make Girls Cry mix CD.
