After the recent download only single, The Music release a brand new single entitled Freedom Fighters on September 6th 2004 through Virgin Records.

The single is their first new material since 2002's Getaway EP and is the first to be taken from their forthcoming second album - Welcome To The North, due for release on September 20th.

The new single will be available on 3 formats, with B-sides including live favourite Come What May and the rare remix of older single The People, as remixed by former Verve member, Nick McCabe.
