Portishead have finally revealed their first tour dates in years, to coincide with the long overdue release of their new album.

Their shows follow the recent ATP Nightmare Before Christmas performances from December (watch a few live videos from their here and here)

Only nine dates will take place, but fans in the UK, Portugal, France, Spain and Italy will get chances to witness the new material on stage during March, April and May.

The UK leg of the jaunt is four gigs in length, but it is likely more will be booked later in the year.

Although the new album is currently without title, Portishead do plan to release it in April.

March Dates:

26th - Porto, Coliseum
27th - Lisbon, Coliseum
30th - Milan, Alcatraz
31st - Florence, Sashall

April Dates:

9th - Manchester, Apollo
10th - London, Hammersmith Apollo
11th - Edinburgh, Corn Exchange
13th - Wolverhampton, Civic

May Dates:

5th - Paris, Zenith
29th-31st - Barcelona, Parc del Fòrum (Primavera Sound)
