Roots Manuva - Buff Nuff

Roots Manuva (Rodney Smith) isn't your average rapper, as you'll see from the video for 'Buff Nuff' - the first single from the forthcoming album 'Slime + Reason'.

Directed by Alastair Siddons (who directed Manuva's past single 'Too Cold'), the promo keeps in theme with the witty lyrics, as we see Smith playing the role of an ice cream man who lures girls to his van to sample his iced treats.

Lyrics-wise, as his label Big Dada puts it, we hear "Mr Manuva begging a girl for it, offering incentives including a ride on his pushbike, and packing in the treble entendres like prophylactics in an 18-30s tour rep's suitcase."

'Buff Nuff' is out June 30th and 'Slime and Reason' August 25th.
