CocoRosie - God Has A Voice, She Speaks Through Me

CocoRosie continue to move away from the low-key sketchiness and organic feel of their first albums, as shown on new single 'God Has A Voice, She Speaks Through Me'.
The girls get hip-hop inspired on the track, heavily endorsing auto-tune manipulated vocals a la T-Pain, digital bass and programmed beats, swirling reversed xylophones and a few synth notes. The video though, is mental - awash with psychedelic colours and swimming dolphins (in cue with the lyrics).
CocoRosie are reportedly working on their next full-lengther for a 2009 release. This single meanwhile, is already on sale at download stores and will be getting the 7" treatment in July via Touch & Go.
