Portishead - The Rip

Not even Portishead could have predicted just how well their new album 'Third' has been received since its release last month, taking in positive reviews across the board.
One of the more gentler moments on the record (which is surely a contender for album of the year?) is 'The Rip'; one half just Beth's haunting vocals atop plucked guitar strings and the quiet howl of theremins, before drums, synths and oscillations kick-in. The video is probably not what you'd expect from the three-piece, featuring shaky animated drawings that morph into different objects.
