Santogold - L.E.S. Artistes

A very unique artist indeed, the blog-hyped Santogold conjours up a dizzying hybrid of electro, new wave, hip-hop, dub, rock, pop and reggae on her forthcoming eponymous album (out May 12th).
Last year spawned the cult club hit L.E.S. Artists when it was released as a hushed, low-key 12" in the Autumn. Such a popular song with listeners and critics alike, it's only fitting the single will soon be widely available prior to the debut album.
