Matmos - Exciter Lamp And The Variable Band

Matmos have gone back to basics for 'Supreme Balloon' - their new album, that was created using just synthesizers - that's right, no samples or laptop effects, just good old hardware.
One half of the group, MC Shmidt, has directed this video for the rather excellently-named 'Exciter Lamp And The Variable Band', which is a homage of kinds tp Canadian animation/direct sound magus Norman McLaren. Matador deliver 'Supreme Balloon' on May 12th.
