CSS - Rat Is Dead (Rage)

In a new era of free download releases, those Brazilian upstarts CSS have hopped on board for the ride, giving away new single 'Rat Is Dead (Rage)' before the album 'Donkey' reaches its July 21st release date.
The band have stepped-up both the production and songwriting on the track; although it still has the guitar-bounce you've come to recognise, 'Rat Is Dead' is more polished sounding, there are no signs of the electro of old (it is incredibly guitar led) and it sounds like the band are, well, trying to write a "real" song with "real singing" and everything.
While still fun and easy on the ears, it's more of a grower than the instant nature of their self-titled debut.
