A Grammy Award behind them and a hit tv series, New Zealand duo Flight Of The Conchords also have their debut Sub Pop-released album (of the same name) coming.
If you've seen the show, you'll be aware of the band's dry wit - as heard in their female admiring song Ladies Of The World - as aired in the last series and included on the album. A faux-funk and sexy soul offering that would give Barry White a run for his money, then ending in comedy-rap, the pair coo "I just want to do something special for all the ladies in the world... and the girls, don't forget them girls." and "If all the soldiers of the world dropped the weapon and picked up a girl...how peaceful the world would be".
