Esser - I Love You

If you arrived early when seeing Foals on their recent tour, then chances are you'll have also witnessed Essex newcomer Esser supporting the Oxford band.

And if you didn't, well, you'll still be hearing more from the tipped youngster, as Merok (the label behind Klaxons, Crystal Castles, The Teenagers) have snapped him up for the release of debut single I Love You - a track which was completely penned, recorded and produced by Ben Esser himself.

Whoever filmed the video must have had a great time, as the concept is simple: Ben Esser is sat on a chair singing and someone behind the camera pelts him with various items of food and sauce, completely covering him and leaving a thick gooey mess.

I Love You is released as a limited edition 7" on April 14th.
