mr. Gnome - Pirates

Cleveland duo mr. Gnome should be ashamed of the awful name they've given their band, but with a interesting fusion of metal, post punk, dream pop and even prog, we'll forgive them this time.
You only have to look at the long list of impressive band comparisons to see there's something special involved - Massive Attack, PJ Harvey, Tool, Portishead, Cat Power, Pelican, Death From Above 1979, Celebration and Blonde Redhead, have all been name-dropped in relation to the pair.
On May 6th, mr. Gnome release their first album, 'Deliver This Creature', on El Marko Records. But are they worth the hype? Well why not decide for yourself, as we have lead single Pirates as a free MP3 - so get downloading and get judging.
