Moby - Naysayer / Renamed

Moby must be feeling pretty happy that his new album Last Night will be available at the end of the month. In an obvious celebrating mood, the veteran producer, remixer and DJ has leaked a pair of tracks that didn't make the final cut, but were recorded during the same sessions.
Both songs (Naysayer and Renamed) are instumentals and are a departure from the electronic-tinged hip hop flavours of current single Alice (read our review). First-up is Renamed; a retro electro number, taking in vintage space-age synths and nostalgic drum machine beats like it's the 80s all over again.
Naysayer on the other hand, is the stronger of the two. At eight minutes, it's fairly minimal when sat side-by-side with its counterpart and although it again uses synths, the song is much more spacious and atmospheric, with Moby looking back to his techno roots.
