Erik Levander - Oskarpa

If you're a long-term reader of AngryApe, you may recall back in 2006 when Rumraket (the label run by Efterklang) were appealing for donations to help save the hard-drive of one of their new signings, electronica artist Erik Levander.
Unfortunately the HD couldn't be rescued and Levander lost an album's worth of material, meaning he had to go back to the drawing board for the record. Now reconstructed from scratch, he completed Kondens - due for release on March 17th.
We've just got hold of an MP3 from Kondens named Oskarpa, which you download below. The track is a beautiful combination of crisp digital fuzz, precision electronics, fragile clicks and pops, melodic distortion and shoe-gazing inspired feedback.
