The Cribs - I'm A Realist

The Cribs are on the road this month as part of the NME Awards tour and they have also been holed-up in the studio, recording material with former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Apparently this new collaboration has already seen 5 tracks laid down to tape so far.
While we can't offer any songs from these sessions, the Wakefield three-piece are on the verge of releasing I'm A Realist as the next single from 2007's Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever album (February 25th via Wichita), and we have the new 3 Pronged Attack-directed video for your viewing pleasure.
Interestingly, the screen is divided into two - with each half occupied by one of two young lovers. We see both boy and girl getting ready for a big night out (a gig by The Cribs no-less), but tragedy kicks-in before the anticipated date goes ahead.
