Richard Hawley - Serious

Shane Meadows' directed video for Richard Hawley's new single serious is as witty as it is freakish.

Here we find Hawley portraying a character in love with a mannequin dummy and the "couple" spend their days doing normal things together, like going to the fair, exercising, drinking in the pub (what the locals must have thought during the filming...) and er, getting a bit too intimate in the bedroom.

Serious appears on the new album Lady's Bridge, which is out next week.
