Super Records Ltd. is an independant label operated and owned by English pop/rock band McFly. The foursome soared to fame with their debut album going straight in at number one in 2004, making them the youngest group to do so, the prior Guiness World Record holders being The Beatles. Inititally McFly were signed to major record outlet Universal Island Records.

However after an issue involving creative differences, the lads parted ways with their old label and set up their own, Super Records Ltd. McFly insist the parting from Universal was amicable but that they wanted to break outside of the mould and be in complete control over everything that they did musically.

Super Records Ltd. aims to be as creative and original as possible because as the band members stated themselves, the music and the media industries are changing and in order to survive, the band also have to change.

The first release from Super Records is 'One For The Radio', from their hotly tipped album Radio:ACTIVE. McFly and Super Records Ltd. are already knocking down boundaries by choosing to release Radio:ACTIVE free via the Mail On Sunday. It is more of a ten track promotional CD however and the full, deluxe version of the album will be released worldwide in September this year featuring a bonus DVD, four extra songs and a 32 page booklet.

In the future there are plans to hopefully sign up other artists and bands, however at the moment, Super Records is strictly based around releasing McFly's own music. Once they've received enough revenue from their own material, they may then consider holding auditions for groups and singers.
