Subliminal Sounds offer the esoteric, weird and the unusual in vintage sounds as well as contemporary cutting edge psychedelic rock, and many other forms of musical expressions.

Since the first release Subliminal Sounds/Xotic Mind has created eclectic productions that combine innovation with a level of care and attention that has made it one of the most enduring independent music companies of its time.

The first period saw the release of music by Swedish psychedelic luminaries such as S.T. Mikael, Word of Life, Adam and others that spearheaded the psychedelic rock movement of the early 1990s.

Subliminal Sounds also started concentrating on reissuing interesting, endangered and of course timeless music from past eras with releases by legendary progressive underground artists like Parson Sound, Trad Gras & Stenar and Baby Grandmothers, to wild garage rockers like The Stomachmouths, as well as previously inaccessible, but most amazing, music like Thai 1960/70s rock, pop and funk on the Thai Beat A Go Go compilations.

Now working extensively with internationally celebrated artist like Dungen, The Works and Life on Earth! the label is continuing to reach audiences far and wide.
