A label based in Brigton who are not led by any one genre. Over the years they have released records that have included electronica, folk, post rock, noise, garage, rock etc.
Active since 1997, their roster has featured such acclaimed artists as Sigur Ros, Mum and Animal Collective.
FatCat also run a number of experimental series - a Split Series which does exactly as the name suggest, and the Splinter Series which was established for CD-only releases.
