How's the German tour been going?

It's been great; we're back here for four days and then we're off to Germany again, and then the USA. We're doing Top of the Pops for Germany - just an interview, but it still counts!

What was it like playing with Oasis last week?

Liam (Gallagher) loved "Modern Art", he was at the side of the stage rocking out to it as we played, and Noel said he already had the album. "My Little Brother" is his favourite; I found that quite funny actually. I've never personally been a fan of Oasis, but they were friendly people.

What do you have to say about the Art Brut Franchises, seeing as there was a gig in London last month devoted to them?

I feel like a proud father. I met some of the franchise bands at the ULU this month. I was proud; I think the best thing about Art Brut is that we've always been very much about the franchises.

Any news about the next single?

I'm not sure, it was supposed to be "Blame It On The Trains", but maybe a new song; I've got the words written, I'm just waiting for some music. It might be "Some Fallingovers".

Is new recruit Jasper really the future of mobile technology?
