Young Jeezy

Young Jeezy is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia in the US. His real name is Jay Jenkins and he has previously used the name of Lil J. Jenkins.

Jeezy was once a member of the group Boyz N Da Hood, but now finds his home as a solo MC at influential hip hop label Def Jam.

His debut record Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 1 came out in 2005 and was followed by 2006's The Inspiration.

When not rapping, Young Jeezy can be found running his own hip hop label, Corporate Thugz Entertainment. Jenkins is also associated with the WSGC 124 Crips street gang.
