UNKLE first comprised of founder James Lavelle and DJ Shadow.
The duo released a concept album entitled Psyence Fiction, which featured a host of collaborators such as Badly Drawn Boy, Thom Yorke, Richard Ashcroft, Kool G Rap and Mike D of Beastie Boys.
A second UNKLE album was created without the aid of DJ Shadow, which again featured collaborators - that included Ian Brown, 3D and Josh Homme.
