The Saturdays
The Saturdays are an all-girl British-Irish pop group comprising of Frankie Sandford (Date of Birth: 14 January 1989), Una Healy (October 10, 1981), Mollie King (4 June 1987), Vanessa White (30 October 1989) and Rochelle Wiseman (21 March 1989).
Prior to forming, the individual members of the band were involved in other musical projects.
Both Frankie and Rochelle were members of S Club 8 (formerly S Club Juniors), Una Healy won Ireland's Glinsk Song Contest twice (in 2004 and 2006), Mollie used to be in girlband Fallen Angelz and appeared on X Factor, and Vanessa performed in several theatre productions.
After this, The Saturdays formed in 2007 and then signed to Fascination Records in 2008, where they became label mates with Girls Aloud (who they supported on tour in their early days).
They recorded their first album 'Chasing Lights' in the Summer and released it in October 2008. In early 2009, the five-piece were chosen to record a charity single for Comic Relief. The band decided to cover the Depeche Mode classic 'Just Can't Get Enough'.
