Middlesbrough five piece The Oxfam Glamour Models not only have one of the best band names, they also make angular new-wave and raw punk.

The band released their debut single Kick Out The Grams in 2006 on Marquis Cha Cha.

According to the group, they are influenced by such bands as: Sonic Youth, The Fall, Pixies, Suede, Blur, David Bowie, Manic Street Preachers, My Bloody Valentine, Elastica, Wire, Magazine.
